Calm before meetings
The minute before a meeting usually goes on rehearsing it. This plan spends it on 4-7-8 breathing, a two-minute open-monitoring sit where each thought is allowed to pass, and a posture check so your shoulders are not up by your ears. Everything runs in the browser — nothing to install.
The rituals the planner picks
Typing “Calm before meetings and less stress at the desk” reads as Calm · Anxiety · At the desk. These are the rituals the planner puts in that week — 5 of them, about 35 minutes across 5 days.

Deep Breathing 1 min · Breathing · seated

Inhale 4, hold 7, exhale 8. Sit down. Stop if you feel lightheaded.

02
Posture Check 1 min · Short steps · seated
Straighten your back and relax shoulders
Stack ears over shoulders, relax the jaw, and let the shoulder blades settle without forcing them back.
Inspired by Kelly Starrett — Desk recovery

03
Open monitoring 2 min · Body scan · seated
Sit still. Notice sounds, breath, and thoughts without following any of them.
Sit. Notice whatever appears — breath, sound, thought — and let it pass without a story. Minimum version: five sounds noticed.
Inspired by Sam Harris — Waking Up

Hands on a desk, sit the hips back, and let the chest drop between the arms.
